Dr. Fung is a nephrologist who understands the insulin connection and that its the REAL problem in diabetes, not the solution. Excessive carbohydrates and high insulin are the problem--the cure is to decrease insulin and decrease carbohydrates to pull out the fat from the liver, reduce insulin resistance and reverse the disease. This is the way it should be, but the American Diabetes Association is preaching more carbohydrates, more insulin and (by extension) worse and worse diabetes. WATCH THIS ONE!
