VIKINGS WIN CHADWICK BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT The boys’ basketball team got its season off to a strong start last week winning three games in three days to capture the championship of the Dolphin Classic Tipoff Tournament. On Tuesday the Vikings defeated Wildwood 59-50 and on Wednesday the Vikings topped Pacific Lutheran 58-45. In Thursdays championship game, the Vikings found themselves trailing Chadwick at the half but they rallied for the lead behind an impressive three-point barrage in the third and fourth quarters. The Vikings defense held strong in the final minute of the game and they emerged victorious 57-56. The Vikings now have a record of 3-0 and begin Coastal League play with a home game against Lennox tonight at 5:30.
