VIP #ENEMIES OR OPPOSITIONS- DOORWAY OR FOUNDATION -LET THEM CHOOSE(Repost): ACTS 2:22-24 Be careful how you #value yourself. Dont beat yourself too hard for the things that didnt work out or the things that requires you to belittle/devalue yourself before you are accepted. Yes you desire to get married but for you to continue to accept abuse from the person you want to commit your future to is belittling and devaluing to who you are. Remember Adam had a chance to name all the animals in his kingdom before God brought Eve. Just name it and wait for someone who has the heart of and for God. Every child of God has a Kingdom to occupy, greatness to achieve and purpose to fulfill. You are going to meet people who will either be the foundation to your purposeful life or a doorway IN your destiny fulfillment. When they stand against Gods purpose for you, they are probably going to be foundation materials. And when they offer you assistance on your path to destiny, they have made themselves the doorway in your great autobiography. Stop presenting yourself as a foot-mat to someone who will not go anywhere beyond where they are right now. Yes, he/she is the boss or the manager today, but he or she is acting like that is permanent seat, it probably is for him or her. Why then do you feel bad that he or she has been a stumbling block to your progress. Yes, you heard me- he or she is just a BLOCK. The description of the package helps you understand, they are a foundation not a doorway to your greatness. I remember a young man seeking admission into the University came to me for counsel and I told him that when you get to the school of your choice, try and discuss your intention with anybody you find there who might be helpful. But dont ever overlook a mere cleaner in the school for they could be Gods tool for your success. He traveled down and after many failed attempt to speak with the top staffs in the department, he noticed one of the security staff who told him that he also has a son like him and would be glad to help. He took him into the head of departments(HOD) office and introduced him as his son, requesting the HOD to assist in given him admission. The HOD gave this young man an admission and today he is a graduate. A security staff who many would have overlooked became the doorway to his success. Therefore see everyone has playing their part/role in your greatness- they are either a doorway or a foundation stone to your greatness. See David in the scriptures, he was destined to be King in Israel yet he was faced with opposition from Saul who was the King at the time but he was also encouraged by Jonathan the Kings son who saw him as a man with divine purpose. Saul wanted to Kill him and stop him from becoming all that God said. Jonathan on the other hand help rescue him several times from death. At the end- Saul died giving way for David to become the King without opposition. Jonathan was rewarded with his surviving son dining with the King for the rest of his life(1 Samuel 18). Everyone coming your way has a #purpose. See those seeking the death of their enemies, have forgotten the purpose of their enemy. David acknowledged the reason Saul his enemy was important and should be allowed to live. David laments; ... “Your beauty, O Israel, is slain on your high places! How have the mighty fallen!(2 Sam. 1:17-19) Saul was the warrior who took down the enemies of Israel. He was a mighty warrior who David knew naturally was better down him on the battle field. All the victories of David came because of Gods favour but Saul was naturally a great warrior who had such a tremendous social impact that even David said; O women of Israel, weep for Saul, for he dressed you in luxurious scarlet clothing, in garments decorated with gold(2 Sam. 1:24). The murder of Saul will not enthrone David, it will only give him more battles to fight. Do you know that the city called Jebusite later on named Jerusalem by David actually was within the territory belonging to Sauls clan- the Benjamite (read Joshua 18:28 & 2 Samuel 5)? Sauls existence would have easily offered the City to David without a fight. When Saul died, it became Davids problem. Do you see why Sauls murder was never Davids priority. Saul was a foundation to Davids fulfillment of destiny even if he refuses to be a doorway to it. Judas Iscariot was a known enemy but Jesus Christ knew for His death and resurrection to take place over 2000 years ago, Judas must be given the chance to choose. Judas must choose to either be a foundation to the fulfillment of his destiny or be a doorway in His glorious destiny. Judas became a foundation by betraying the son of God. At the end Judas became aware that he had chosen wrong and then killed himself. Matthew 27:3; Then when Judas, his betrayer, saw that Jesus was condemned, he changed his mind and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders. Judas did not think Jesus could be found guilty or condemned. He assumed his master would again escape the accusation attempts but he was wrong, he made himself the foundation to Jesus crucifixion. However, Peter who also betrayed Jesus became the doorway in the declaration of the glorious message of salvation. The Bible says; But Peter, taking his stand with the eleven, raised his voice and declared to them: “Men of Judea and all you who live in Jerusalem, let this be known to you and give heed to my words....“Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know—this Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death. “But God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power(Acts 2:14-24). So everyone has a purpose when they came or crossed your path in life. Dont beat yourself up. The rape/molestation was not your fault. The disappointment was not because you have not been forgiven. You have been forgiven and you are BEING healed. It was a terrible experience but you are coming out victorious no matter what, for that grave experience will not be your final destiny. Everyone who behaved proudly over you will come to realize, your ordinariness is Gods vital ingredient for your EXTRAORDINARY LIFE. Go on and Live. #Shalom! Acts 2: 22-24; “Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know—this Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death.“But God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power.
