The team won a point against Laval in the last round, making a goal less draw as visitors, but having in mind that this point came on the road, than the draw should be considered as a good result for sure. This was their fifth straight league games without a defeat (2-3-0), as in the last three of those games Dijon did not concede a single goal and the defense is running really good and improved a lot recently for sure. And so far after the first twenty three rounds, with just four defeats in those matches (9-10-4), Dijon is on fifth place in the ranks, but just three points behind the top three and the promotion zone. The big power for the side is coming from their home games, where so far the team had lost just one single time in eleven games, having won a whole eight of them, collecting twenty six points in them (8-2-1), as well as in the recent month and a half they are on a great run of collecting four consecutive victories in front of their fans, scoring nine times in those matches and in the same time keeping clean sheet in three of those games, collecting just one goal overall. CA Bastia is on the very bottom of the table and they continues to make defeat after defeat. In the last round the team was just demolished from Chatearoux with 1:4 at home and once again proved to be the worst side in Ligue2 by far, as with just thirteen points collected overall (2-7-14) and all those fourteen defeat in the first twenty three rounds, there is just no chance for them to safe their place and play in second division for the next campaign as well, as just like it happened with GFCO Ajaccio last season, they were just not ready for this league. ********************************************** No fresh problems for Milan, before this home match. But still with different injuries are 6 players - Robinho, Daniele Bonera, Bryan Cristante, Stephan El Shaarawy, Urby Emanuelson and Valter Birsa. All ot them missed the game against Napoli and now will miss again. Kaka is ready to play, after in the last match he played only a couple of minutes, because of flu. Less problems for Bologna, who are without Michele Pazienza and Robert Acquafresca, both are injured. In the first meeting this season Bologna and Milan finished 3-3. In the last round they won against Torino with 2-1 and stoped their serie of 5 games in a row without a win (3 draws and 2 loses). Here on San Siro they lost 3 of their last 4 games against Milan, so I expect again a home win. ********************************************** Valenciennes have struggled away from home this season with only 2 victories, however one of them was against title challengers Monaco and this should give them enough belief they can get something out of the game. With it appearing likely that Blanc will rotate his starting XI, it will be interesting to see if some of the fringe players can stake a claim for a regular starting berth, especially in the wide forward positions, which have been subject to regular rotation. As with any side visiting the Parc des Princes, it is difficult to see Valenciennes getting anything out of their trip. However they will believe now is the perfect time to face the league leaders with important fixtures looming and injuries to key players, so they will hope to at least make it difficult for the Champions. ********************************************* Match between 2nd placed team Hajduk and worst team in Croatian first division (Hrvatski Dragovoljac). This match is crucial for home team because of the battle for the 2nd place with Rijeka (Dinamo will be new/old champion no matter what, they are far the best club in Croatia at the moment). Team will be complete with Andjelkovic and Bencun coming back after recovery and Jozinovic coming back after 3 yellow card ban. Hajduk is one of the greatest football clubs in Croatia, they play at home ground and they will have big support because they are most watched team in Croatia and their fans will be celebrating clubs 103rd birthday. The guests are weak, especially on the road where they have zero wins this season. But Steaua have 2 games less played and one of those 2 is this one today against Concordia. Concordia is currently 10 th in the Romanian first division. At home, Steaua have won 6 out of 7 games and have 21-3 GD. 3 months ago, when those two teams played each other, it was 6-0 for Steaua. If Steaua win today, they will catch Astra on the 1st place. The rest of the season, Steaua will not play European competitions, they finished last in their group of the Champions league, so all their focus will be on the Romanian championship and I expect that they will soon confirm the title.
