VIPER 40 HD shows first batch of snow showers moving into our northwestern counties. However, expect perhaps only a few flurries with this first wave, as this moisture encounters drier air in the lower atmosphere. Snow chances will increase toward daybreak and through the mid morning hours. Also, be mindful that well likely see blowing snow and visbilities will be greatly reduced in several areas. Wind chills will be in the teens through Saturday. The counties outlined in white are in the Winter Weather Advisory... roughly just north and east of Warren county. The advisory area has the potential for 1-3 of snow through Saturday afternoon, while areas s/w of the advisory, including Bowling Green will see lesser amounts around one inch. Be careful as travel may be negatively impacted late overnight and in the morning. The advisory is in effect through Saturday afternoon.
