VIPs wanted to volunteer in Regional Parks! If you like being outside, regularly visit Regional Parks, and enjoy talking to people then we want to hear from you. This spring, our Parks Services department is launching a Volunteer in Parks program with volunteers sought to become Trail Patrollers. A public information meeting will be held on Wednesday April 2nd at 7PM at the EECO in Mission Creek Regional Park (2363A Springfield Road). Those interested are encouraged to attend and find out if the Volunteer Trail Patroller program is right for them. Volunteer Trail Patrollers main purpose will be to record and report any problems to Regional Parks staff and theyll also act as park ambassadors, providing information to visitors about park features and regulations.
