VISA APPROVED Interview Date 30 Oct 2014 Kolkata Time:- 8:30 AM counter num:- 7 its my lucky number I was unable to sleep--waking up in the ni8 for every one hour and seeing the PH and tried my self to make free tension. --------finally wake up in the mrng 50 clock------ Dressed up dignified and moved to wards the consulate. (At the consulate there was que in front of me) standin the line ------------- Finally the que started to move at 8:45 All the checkings were done............. Even my heart beat was beating likeVISA-VISA-VISA------------- Took my finger prints ------and asked me to wait still my token num arrive in the screen....... In my counter....in front of me .........back to back 3 rejections ........1 h1 & 2F1......... -----------Finally------------ -----------Finally------------ I was facing the interview............ Me:-Went with dangerous fake smile Vo:-Passport plz Me:-given Vo:-Why did u come to kolkata instead of hyderabad ? Me:-Im frequent visitor of kolkata as my elder brother is a professor at IIT kargapur ,For the last 1 month Im staying along with him in his residenc.Iam very comfortable in giving interview at kolkata. Vo:-PLz pass your I-20 and sevis fee Me:-passed Vo:-Tell me about university u r going ? Me:-NPU Vo:-Why only this university ? Me:-This university has the best course structure in system administration and Database maintance which is my job resposibilities.I can enchance my skills with lab facilites and professors instuctions,this course has good demand in india once im back here.(Biscuit) Vo:-Shocked with my excellent Biscuit answer Vo:-Passed out and percentage. Me:-2013 & 59%. Vo:-whar r u doing since Me:-Im working with xxxxxx Institute of technology & science as a administrator. My work is to maintain the database labes and users access.(Cream Biscuit) Vo:-Give me payslip & Id card Me:- given Vo:-Why r u leaving ur current job ? Me:-I just gave temporary resignation. with my reputation in my current job I can easily join back with nice package in same company.(interrupted) Vo:-u r GRE & IELTS score Plz Me:-Told Vo:-Why didnt u retake the exam,u r scores r low ? Me:-SirI believed with this score also I would get admission into the US university. More over I want to finish my M.S as quick as possible and come back to india. Vo:-Tell me about your parents ? Me:-My father is a business man & mother is house wife. Vo:-What business ? Me:-XXXX export business to kolkata.We have our own 5 trucks.(Salt Biscuit). Vo:-How they are going to fund u ? Me:-I have a liquid cash XX lakhs in my account and a bank loan of XX lakhs. Vo:-Your passbook show that a large amount of money has recently been deposited ? How did you explain it. Me:-My father recently deposited large amount of money in my account for my educatonal purpose. Vo:-Give me 3 reasons for me to give your visa ? Me:-1. Im qualified and deserved to be a masters degree holder. 2.I want to reach higher positions and take care of my parents 3.And Im very much clear with my ambitions like-----------------(Big biscuit). Vo:-You seem to be well prepared ? Me:-Sir,Im just trying to be honest with u........(With a smile). Vo:-What will u do if your visa is rejected ? Me:-Sir,Its my dream to study in United States.For this happen I will improve my profile and apply again. VO:-Good......Typing....typing... after 1min said VISA APPROVED Me:-thank u sir.(With big smile) Vo asked so many questions ,but i forgot . Hope my interview helps you people.....! So finally my suggestion is :- Be confident and hopeful, visa will be yours Dont get demoralIsed on others derogative comments Finally Iam thankful to my parents and friends for their support.
