VO New Russian Ambassador calls on Prime Minister INTRO: Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong on Tuesday the 14th of October received at his office in Vientiane Mikial V BARANOV, new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Laos. STORY: At the reception, Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong expressed his pleasure with the appointment of the ambassador. He was sure that the ambassador would contribute to the broadening of the relations of friendship and co-operation between Laos and Russia. The ambassador Mikial V BARANOV thanked Prime Minister Thongsing for his warm welcome and said that he would do his best to tighten and develop the relations with Laos.
