VOI SUB COUNTY OPEN EDUCATION DAY On Friday 18th July, Voi Sub County organized an open Education Day which was well attended by both Primary and Secondary school teachers and students. Addressing the gathering, the Governor - Eng. John Mruttu reminded students to work hard for their academic success. In line with this,the county government is to introduce Mobile Library Services in Fy 2014/2015- where Vans and Motorcycles will move Text Books from one School to another. The Governor had more goodies for students: He promised full paid up scholarship- Form one to Four for all pupils who will score over 400 marks in KCPE. In secondary school, a student will have to score an A in KSCE to get a college scholarship. On the same platform, the Governor cautioned any indiscipline student who may torch their school, refuse to seat for mock exams or lead others in strikes. Such students will face the full force of the law of the land.
