VOICE ALERT Saves CEO of the Company from being Robbed at his residence Without a Voice Alert things could have gone BAD 1.12am here... about an hour ago VoiceAlert quite possibly saved our lives... Nina was in the bath, I had just got out of the bath and was stretching watching TV... its a very hot still evening and all our doors and windows wide open. Suddenly VoiceAlert triggered. I flew up, grabbed a towel and my nightstick and torch and headed outdoors... 3 guys walking away down road. I quickly went to my CCTV and pulled footage - 3 x black males wearing headgear walking up the road, pass my house... just as theyre about to go out of shot one must have said something and they turned with no hesitation and walked with complete confidence the 30m back, straight in between the parked cars in driveway (past the outdoor tap) and up my stairs. Outdoor light came on and VA triggered. They lalted about 8 feet from the open sliding door and hesitated, then turned and walked away. I have 2 angles and their intent and confidence is utterly clear. I immediately got on the radio to watch control (neighbourhood watch) and gave description - by the time Id pulled on pants and got my key news was in that they were apprehended about 400m away. I shot over there and there were several police vans and other security staff. I had shot stills and video of the incident on my phone - and showed police who positively IDd them, slapped them in bangles and took them off, back via my house where they reviewed the footage of both cameras on full screen.
