VOLLEYBALL South cruises past Southport in volleyball, 3-0 Bloomington South showed no letdown after its volleyball win over rival North two nights ago, sweeping past Conference Indiana foe Southport, 25-17, 25-15, 25-16. “To turn around off that match in that environment and have to play Southport, I was worried about coming out strong,” South coach Eugene Kim said. “But we played about as clean of a match as we have all year.” Brie Blume and Abby Boatman each had 10 kills to lead the Panthers (11-3 overall, 3-0 CI). Jaqueline Forney had nine assists, and Dominique Davis nine digs. Claire Dennis and Ashlynn Fox combined for seven kills and seven block assists in the middle.
