VOLUNTEER AT THE BOX! Hey members, the Box Factory for the Arts have some volunteer opportunities in June, please consider signing up to assist. It is fun and you meet some great people. Volunteers are the heart of the Box Factory. Front Desk Volunteer Position and Job Duties: We are looking for a friendly, outgoing person who enjoys working with the public. Welcome visitors and provide information about the exhibitions and the art center. Process sales transactions for gift shop. Answer phone and redirect calls Concert Refreshment volunteers duties: Arrive 30 minutes prior to performance / event time, make coffee, tray cookies / snacks, put donation baskets out on counter. Make coffee for intermission, and restock cookies / snacks. After the concert: empty coffee thermos, store leftover snacks, and wipe counter. Concert dates that need volunteers to start at 7:00pm, concert starts at 7:30pm. Saturday, June 7 – Bryan Edington & Friends –acoustic rock classics, fingerstyle instrumentals, jazz standards Saturday, June 14 – Folk Artist Chris Valillo Saturday, June 21 – Lake Effect Big Band – Traditional Big band and Contemporary Jazz (Wine & Beer will be served at the Lake Effect Concert) Saturday, June 28 New Town Cryers (50th Anniversary Concert) – Folk Music Gallery Opening Reception June 20 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. We will need some volunteers to assist with the following duties: Wine and Beverage and Food helpers Please email [email protected] if you are available to volunteer, or call 269-983-3688 to sign up.
