VOLUNTEER INFORMATION POINT From 30th September, the VIP Project (Volunteer information point) will be using our health education room (the large room which is straight ahead of you as you come through the very front doors) on the last Tuesday morning of each month between 10am-12.30pm. The VIP project offer support to include: benefits- what you may be entitled to, blue badge scheme, community groups/social clubs in your area, computer/internet help, cookery classes, council enquiries, council tax, safety around the home, getting to the Doctors, preventing falls, scams, assistance with shopping, meals on wheels, keeping warm at home, finding residential care, transport and much more! This service operates on a ‘drop-in’ basis so there is no need to book an appointment.
