VOTA IL NOSTRO PROGETTO The “Student* contro lo spreco” (“Students against waste”) campaign aims at spreading good practices of environmental sustainability that can be promoted in educational spaces involving students, citizenry, public and private administrations. We have focused our attention on two sources of plastic waste: use of disposable glasses in university dining halls and use of bottled water bought at automatic machines present in university spaces. The solutions we have proposed are the introduction of washable and reusable polypropylene glasses and recycled aluminium and tritan canteens that students can always take with them, and drinkable water machines connected to urban water system.
