VOTE FOR EMPATHY - MY PROPOSAL FOR THOSE THAT SEEK PUBLIC OFFICE - Most all of us take a test to drive a car, for college entrance, or to gain professional status or credentials. I have a simple test I feel anyone that seeks public office needs to take. Anyone that wants to serve the public should be tested for EMPATHY. Their Empathy IQ should be noted by their name on the ballot. Those that have an inability to place themselves in the shoes of others are psychologically ill equipped to serve the public. A present public service appeals mostly to those that feel a need for power and control. These attributes have not served us well. Next time, VOTE FOR EMPATHY.
