VOTE OUT FAILED PDP GOVERNMENT – KWANKWASO CHARGES NIGERIANS Gov. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso of Kano has said that the mass turn out of people across the nation for the APC presidential rallies are a sign that Nigerians are determined to vote out what he described as “a failed government”. He stated this in an interview with pressmen in his office after the Kano APC rally on Tuesday pointing out that all indices of winning elections have shown that APC would form the central and majority of the state governments in the country. The Governor appealed to APC members and supporters of the party’s flag bearer Muhammad Buhari not engage in selective election of candidates, noting that anti party activities would only harm the party rather than give it the chance to deliver the good it promises Nigerians. Gov. Kwankwaso who stressed total commitment to the cause of the party, maintained that even Buhari, in his address at the Kano campaign rally has emphasized on the need for voting only APC’s candidates at all levels in the forthcoming elections. The governor who is contesting for the Kano Central Senatorial seat, pointed out that with the soaring popularity of the APC, he is optimistic that no opposition party would win any seat in the election forthcoming elections. When asked why he is not going out to campaign, Kwankwaso said: “my projects suffice for campaigning me”, adding that “some projects I initiated would be in existence in the next 100 years like Northwest University and flyovers among many others, therefore whatever I am going to tell the people they know already.” He described the campaign by the opposition PDP in the state that if elected they will destroy all the three multi-billion flyovers bridges constructed and disengage all the 1500 youths employed under Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA) as irresponsible and absurd, reiterating that Kano people would never vote PDP into office again.
