VP, Enterprise Risk Management (20140197): Details: Overall Purpose The position has overall accountability for the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program which includes program development, and providing both oversight and direction for management of risks across the organization. Facilitate the organization’s definition of risk appetite and tolerance, coordinate risk assessments, identify the operational and strategic risks, facilitate the prioritization of risks and identification of risk owners, and develop and communicate risk reports to management. Essential Functions Establish, maintain and continuously improve the ERM Program to enable senior management and the Management Committee to set the organization’s risk tolerance and enable visibility to material risk mitigation and management activities. Coordinate the annual ERM risk assessment. Assist in enhancement of the governance processes for risk by ensuring that the critical risks of the business are appropriately identified, evaluated, addressed, reported and controlled. Prepare the quarterly risk metrics for the ERM and Management Committees. Establish processes and protocols to communicate the Enterprise Risk Profile to the ERM and Management Committees. Partner with the business leadership team to ensure that risks are identified and considered in the development of the strategic vision, and proactively balance both the risk and rewards of the business. Provide advisory and support services related to risk decision making to senior management with the objective of enhancing and evolving risk management and mitigation capabilities. Benchmark the ERM program against industry leading practices and accepted industry standards, and align the ERM Program to meet risk management objectives as established by the ERM and Management Committees. Direct risk measurement and monitoring processes and communicate consolidated risk reporting that articulates the risk profile to the ERM and Management Committees. Promote a culture of risk awareness and accountability through training, education and risk management consultative support. Providing leadership and guidance to staff for professional development, which includes planning and coordinating training, defining mentoring strategies, and providing hands on training and education. Developing a highly engaged, high performance team to deliver against departmental and company objectives. Instill best practices in ERM strategy and program implementation. Drive improvements and revisions to risk policies, procedures, and methodologies.
