VSP SEEKING PUBLIC’S HELP WITH HIT-&-RUN OF PEDESTRIAN IN STAFFORD COUNTY VSP is seeking the public’s assistance with a hit-and-run that occurred in Stafford County Jan. 1, 2015. At approximately 4:20 a.m., Thursday, a red sedan traveling east on Route 610/Garrisonville Road struck two people using the crosswalk at the intersection of Route 1256/Brafferton Boulevard. The car then fled the scene. The 37-year-old male from Triangle, Va., was transported to Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg and is still there undergoing treatment for serious injuries. The 31-year-old female from Burke, Va., was not struck nor injured. The female thought the vehicle might have been a red Chevrolet sedan. The car would have sustained damage to its right front passenger side and mirror. Anyone with information about the suspect vehicle or related to this incident is asked to please call the Virginia State Police at 540-829-7766 or #77 on a cell phone.
