VW Passat Estate 2.0 TDI 2006/56 Reg The time has come to sell my VW Passat. I’ve owned it since Feb 2013 and since owning it, it has had the following work done to it: 1) Front lower arms replaced 2) Cambelt & Water pump replaced 3) New genuine N/S/R caliper 4) Full service 5) Brake fluid changed 6) New anti-roll bar drop links 7) Turbo removed and stripped and cleaned and refitted 8) New o/s cv gator 9) 2nd hand Air con compressor fitted & new receiver dryer 10) Chrome roof bars fitted from Highline model 11) Multi-function steering wheel fitted from Highline model 12) Full screen dash cluster fitted from Highline model 13) Reversing sensors fitted 14) New In tank fuel pump/sender unit It has done just over 163,000 miles but this is nothing for a VW. I have fitted reversing sensors by the form of a kit that goes round the number plate. The N/S/R caliper was replaced by VW in March 2013 and the O/S/R caliper was replaced by VW August 2012 (history to prove). These are a common fault to go wrong but no worries there now. The cambelt & water pump & brake fluid was all done by a friend but I do have the receipts for the parts. The car has no service book as such but does have a 16 page print out from 25/10/2006 through until 14/06/2012 giving details of what has been done throughout its life including having the injector recall done by VW. The car comes with 2 remote keys, the car has full black leather seats and door cards with heated front seats which is very comfy and is in good condition. It also has cruise control which works perfectly,Towbar which ive never used,4 x electric one touch windows & electric heated mirrors. The driver’s seat back is electronic and also has electric lumber support. The car does have a downside and that is the bodywork. There is a big scratch on the O/S/R bumper (see photo) and also the top of the rear bumper looks to have been sprayed by aerosols. There is a slight dent to N/S/R door and N/S/R pillar by front door and also various scratches on most panels.Having said that it’s not that bad and i’m probably making it sound worse than what it is. A very reliable and comfy car with many more miles still to go yet.I’m just after a change as I get bored with my cars. This is the longest ive owned a car which is 15 months so that must be saying something. Just serviced by a friend last week which consisted of oil & filter, air filter, fuel filter and pollen filter. Mot until November and tax until December. Cash on collection only. £2600
