Position Description: The Sr. Human Resources Manager is responsible creating a high performing culture at VXI. S/he leads the Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The Sr. Human Resources Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organization’s business goals. This is a fast-paced role with an incredible opportunity to put your footprint in an ever growing workforce and organization. If you’re comfortable delivering results in a fluid, high energy environment, this role is for you! Here’s what we’ll need from you: Within the first 30 days: Ability to have fun and immediately impact the performance culture by gaining credibility with the operations teams and employees through a solid assessment of strengths and opportunities of the Los Angeles location. Provide win-win solutions in employee relations which will set the tone for the long term relationship between management and employees. Provide the HR vision and business context to a team of eight direct reports. Ensure there’s a development plan for growth for the HR team. Within the first 60 days: A full strategic plan addressing short and long strategies with a scorecard to support the successes of these strategies. Detailed plan of action in order to provide the operation team with world class training in leadership development and strategic agility. Ability to demonstrate that the partnership with payroll, training and quality assurance is working to maximize results while building credibility with the employee population. Within the first 90 days: Results, Results and Results! Be able to demonstrate positive impact on Employee Relations as well as the financial impact HR can make such as worker’s compensation administration, leave of absence, employee engagement, hiring to the requirements and reducing attrition. Be seen as a leader in the site including having a fan base in the operations and supporting teams. Identify the next level of leadership in the site and prepare their development plans.
