Vacancy: 1050: Security Officer (post level 15) Faculty: Department: Protection Services Division: Qwa qwa Campus Type: Support Description: Department Protection Services QwaQwa Campus Security Officer (post level 15) Job ID: 1050 Duties and responsibilities: •Crime prevention and combating. •Unrest and crowd control. •Guard and patrol duties. •Traffic control. Inherent requirements: •Grade 12. •Relevant experience as security officer. •Registration with the Security Council as Grade E officer or higher. •Willingness to work shifts and overtime. •Proficiency to communicate in English. •Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to function with ease in the University’s parallel-medium and richly diverse working environment.
