Vacancy Announcement : Medical Officer (MO) : one : 18th June 2013 : Yangon Division The Association government organization (NGO) that has been working in humanitarian activities of community development, HIV/AIDS prevention and care programs in Myanmar since 1992. AFXB is currently looking for the positions above to employ in its Myanmar especially in the area of Yangon Division for FY 2013 of ' Partnership approach for Continuum Care, Treatment, Support and Prevent HIV Transmission" project the detailed descriptions of position is following : Detailed Description: Medical Officer (MO) Post (i) Participate to the clinics and DIC activities (40%) Provide training and medical services for the health staff and PLHA Manage and monitor regularly health services and medicine provision of the clinic and DIC Manage evaluation of health status of PLHA and conduct case management among the health staff Manage data and drug consumption in daily, weekly and monthly basic to record for the reports (ii) Provide medical treatment to People in need, i.e. PLHA and their affected families (40%) Provide medical treatment to PLHA at the clinics of the project Link with the Government Hospitals and the clinics of INGOs for referral services Provide CHBC training to Community Health Workers and peer PLHA, through assisted care in and internal clinic of AFXB Monitor the quality of CHBC providers and their services Provide health information to PLHA and their families to promote health awareness for self-care at Sundays meeting at AFXB and SHG (iii) Health structures support (10%) Strengthen the health seeking behavior of PLHA and their affected families for receiving the existing health service of the government and INGOs. (iv) Coordination (10%) Organize weekly and monthly meetings for health and psychosocial services among staffs Job Title No. of Post Application Deadline Duty Station François-Xavier Bagnoud International is a Swiss non-  Produce weekly and monthly reports of medical activities to Project Officer and Project Coordinator Able to visit the project sites and the beneficiaries house for the CHBC when needed Attend the staff meetings of AFXB for presentation of plan and achievement of the project Participate in the coordination meeting with INGO, UN agencies, local authorities and health personnel when necessary Coordinate and cooperate to the administrative unit and the financial unit of AFXB for utmost results of the project activities Follow the code of conduct of AFXB and perform others duties when required. Qualification requirement: MBBS with SAMA license and medical experiences for treating patient in a similar position appreciated With high motivation and interest to involve in social activity of PLHA without stigma and discrimination English and Burmese languages for communication and reporting Computer skills (Word, Excel, Power point) Other: Able to drive car with valid license is appreciated Able to undertake other relevant tasks assigned by the superior.
