The postholder will support the maintenance and development of various initiatives taken by the department including but not limited to events, active volunteers and graduate advantage. The intern will: •Support ‘The Workplace’ in their liaison work with external organisations •Support ‘The Workplace’ in arranging various student and graduate employer related events •Assist in enhancing the current service offered to organisations, the students and graduates of the University •To work to established and pre-determined deadlines, and to prioritise workload within this The role is currently being advertised for a period of 24 weeks on the step placement programme and is only open to individuals who graduate(d) in 2013 from the University of Wolverhampton. The intern will be based at the City Campus (MD Building) and Wolverhampton Science Park but will be expected to travel to other campuses and organisations in the West Midlands region. The intern will be supported and supervised by an experienced manager and mentor and will have access to the University Staff development training opportunities. It is an opportunity for a recent graduate to integrate their recent University experiences and skills with practical, supervised work experience: •Contributes to the graduate’s personal and professional development •Involves a supervision component that is mentoring and educational •Includes career related experiences that complement what has been learned •Will have a reflection and evaluation process at the conclusion of the internship Person requirements 1. Educational Qualifications: Essential: •2013 graduate from the University of Wolverhampton in any degree discipline Desirable: •Good literacy and numeracy skills •Degree in marketing or related fields 2.
