Vacancy for Executive Chef for the award winning resort in island of Batam. Turi Beach Resort! His duty will be assisting General Manager to bring the next level of current culinary standard include to develop and standardize recipes of resort culinary lifestyle from vegan, vegetarian and other related healthy food as well as Asian and International cuisine and actively with General Manager to continue to introduce Indonesian cuisine to the world by arranging cooking class, show, expo and competition. He must able to communicate in English oral and writing He need review food and beverage purchases and make sure quality and price match, maintain safety and sanitation in the kitchen, maintain equipment, design food presentation aesthetics, plan and prepare special menu items, choose menu designs and determine menu prices. He may also be in charge of interviewing, hiring and training new kitchen personnel. Additionally, executive chefs supervise all kitchen workers. He give performance reviews, grant pay increases and take disciplinary action when necessary. Executive chefs may also help prepare meals in the kitchen and delegate work to other chefs and cooks during the restaurants busy times and when require. At the end of the work day, executive chefs oversee clean up and record the days sales.
