Vacancy for Front-end Interaction Designer/Developer - London London based digital agency offering a full range of online services, including strategic consultancy, creative design and technical solutions, to a wide variety of clients from Financial Services and Private sector organisations such as Sony, AkzoNobel, NHS, Aviva Insurance, Barclays Bank, BskyB, Toshiba, Lloyds Banking Group, Peugeot, seeks a Front-end Interaction Designer/Developer who will report directly to the to the UX & Creative Director: The position requires the creation of front-end design and development for a wide range of clients. You will be required to create original graphic design and layout concepts as well as being able to follow design and brand guidelines – translating your own and other designers work into front-end coded pages. Being Art Directed and working as a team member you will also be able to design and develop for existing sites and design styles. You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of interaction design through a portfolio of work that you have designed and developed. You will understand and be able to translate and advise on innovative front end development skills and be interested in expanding your front end interaction design and development skills as part of your career aims. Core competencies: • Ability to identify and interpret graphic design needs and develop front end concepts • Follow design guidelines for pre-existing designs and styles • Provides technical advice and guidance for design issues • Ability to create and produce graphic materials using a range of media, methods, techniques, and equipment • Comprehensive design and software skills that would include working in PhotoShop as well as creating front-end code • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Essential code skills: • Candidate should have experience of the .NET framework - C# is preferred, but VB.NET will be considered. • CSS & CSS3 • JavaScript/jQuery • HTML • XHTML • DHTML • Understanding of AJAX • XSLT Desirable: • Some knowledge/experience of SharePoint • Some experience of ASP.NET/Visual Studio If interested, contact: Lawrence Luza Consultant Dot Net Resourcing t: + 44 (0)1702 46 00 10 f: + 44 (0)1702 46 00 11 e: [email protected] w: dotnetresourcing.co.uk
