Valerie asked the group moderators to reintroduce ourselves, so here I go. Hi, my name is Denise and Im a bookaholic. (waits for return hellos) A year before I published my first book, I joined the indie community and read everything I could get my hands on about this exciting change to the publishing world. Nearly three years, 1 book, 1 short story and (sometime next month) 1 novella later I still read everything I can get my hands on about indie publishing and how to be a better writer. I think keeping up with current publishing trends is not only interesting but required if Im to make writing my full-time career. I live in a chaotic household in GA, where I homeschool my three teens, try to not trip over one of our 3 dogs and 4 cats, and sometimes get to spend time with my husband (he works long hours). In my copious spare time I decided to go back to college - Ill be starting my Sophomore year in January - host friends every other Saturday for game night, and play various MMOs. Ive also been known to work in a bit of writing at times. :)
