Valicha is a song with rhythm Huayno by Michelangelo Delgado Hurtado in 1945. The melody comes first in 1942 in Tusuy composition ( in Quechua : Dance ), which included the tune of what would later Valicha and some verses in Spanish . Later , his brother Evencio Hurtado adapt the letter to Quechua , which is how it is known , especially from Regional Folk Contest 1945, where Evencio participates and wins the first place. The first stanza of the verse in Spanish was as follows : Cholita flower sierra among the wild grasses What will you be doing ? Sure you re singing sweet memories of our love. The inspiration for the composition of Tusuy arises from the experience of love with Michelangelo Hurtado Valeriana Huillca Condori (whose disminutivo was Valicha ) . The two met in the village of Acopia ( Acomayo Province , Cusco) , where parents residing Hurtado . Michelangelo arrived in Lima during school holidays and had a furtive relationship with Valerian, Quechua peasant . The relationship broke down shortly before Valicha was sent to Cuzco on orders from their parents. Michelangelo was a teacher who fell in love with his student , Valerian, parents forbade this romance and hence the name of the song, Valicha , by the memory of Valerian, student of hers , whom everyone in the humble school Valicha called , a name that will remain in the memory of those who have heard this song .
