Valued Customers there has been a Space-A travel update in the Foreign Clearance Guide for travel to and from Aviano AB. Space-A travel to/from Aviano AB (LIPA) from a non-Schengen country (i.e., US, UK, middle east, etc.) is prohibited. Currently, Aviano AB does not have Italian Customs/Immigrations agents available to clear passengers arriving/departing Aviano AB. Space-A travel to/from Aviano AB to or from a Schengen country is permitted. Schengen countries are Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
