Vance County Animal Shelter - Advocates for the Animals-Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society of Henderson, NC---We adore you guys as volunteers and thank you all so VERY much!! BUT---as for the County and Shelter itself.....I want to hear that excuse again...You guys know it, the one about how poor and rural the shelter and area is so they cannot do home checks and charge for adoptions etc? See this shelter pictured here?? How does it look compared to YOUR building? They get almost NOTHING from the county each year. They rely on great volunteers just like you all! So step up just a little harder, start a group, start pledgies for each dog, start a transport if you havent already. Whatever you think is worth a shot, do it! Volunteers like you all are what saves lives!! I have faith in you. Now go! Save a life!
