Vancouver Mayor Tim Leavitt , Vancouver City Councilors Smith and Hansen, Ridgefield Mayor Ron Onslow, and LaCenter Mayor Jim Irish and Clark County Commissioner Stuart poised to force light rail on Clark County, in spite of the Nov. 2012 vote to REJECT light rail and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). Jim Irish , sometimes Ron Onslow represents these 2 cities. Irish voted in Oct. 2013 at the CTRAN meeting to spend money on preparing contracts and information for light rail : Ridgefield....59.77% against light rail and BRT LaCenter......59.17% against " Bill Ganley represents these 2 cities and has supported the right to vote on light rail/ BRT Battleground..65.29% against Yacholt....... - - Connie Jo Freeman represents these 2 cities and has supported the right to vote on light rail/BRT Camas.........55.43% against Washougal.....58.23% against Bart Hansen, Larry Smith & Tim Leavitt represents Vancouver & are Pro light rail, voted in Oct. 2013 to spend more $$ on preparing contracts and information light rail Vancouver.....54.05% against Vancouver Mayor Leavitt works as a director for a company that contracts with TriMet for light rail services.
