Vanilla cake: An extremely easy to prepare simple recipe Sieve 140gms flour & keep aside. Mix 150gms thick curds & 100gms castor sugar & beat well till sugar dissolves. Add 1tsp baking pdr & 1/2tsp cooking soda & mix well. Let it stand for 2/3 min. Bubbles will appear. Add 65gms refined oil & 1tsp vanilla essence. Beat well. Add the sieved flour and mix well. If it is thick add extra curds but it should be of dropping consistency. Pour into a greased mould and bake at 210*c/400*f for 10 min. Then lower the temp to 150*c/300*f and bake for 35 min. Insert a knife in the centre & if it comes out clean it means it is done.
