Vaniyambadi 25 Jan,Students of Sigaram Matriculation Higher Secondary School created a world record by made National Flag using salt and color powder.1100 students,56 teaching,non teaching staffs and 24 school committee members were involved to made the flag from 6.30 am and finished at 11.30 am.Dedicate this activity to the country in the occasion of 66 republic day 2015.Judges from Asian records academy,Indian Records academy,Tamilan book of records,Elite world record were examine the work and declared and added to the world record book.In the year 2012 peoples of Singapore created the record by created their country flag by 1800 peoples worked about 18 hours in 22410 sq.feet by using salt and achieved the world record which is broken by Sigaram Matriculation Higher Secondary School students in Vaniyambadi.
