Varian Medical Systems has employment opportunities available in Oklahoma City, OK, Duluth, MN and Dallas, TX in addition to a Field Service work from home position for a company in Baltimore, MD and a Maintenance Mechanic in Palo Alto, CA Field Service Representative (FSR) is the primary contact for Varian Medical Systems (VMS) customer service and repair needs ensuring that our customers’ equipment operates efficiently at all times. The Hardware FSR is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, upgrading and performing preventative maintenance on all designated VMS equipment according to instructions and company guidelines. Each FSR operates in a designated field service territory and represents VMS. This requires a high level of professional communication with their team, customers, management, sales and other technical support. Maintenance Mechanic – Palo Alto, CA • Maintains and repairs campus and facilities infrastructure including plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems. • Has experience troubleshooting and repairing various systems such as, building automation (Metasys), fire alarm & fire suppression, plumbing and mechanical equipment. • Must be able to perform preventive maintenance (PM) procedures related to building systems, as well as production equipment. • Experience with furniture installation, fork lift driving and basic construction is helpful. • In addition, this individual must work well in team situations and be customer service oriented. Requirements: • Associates Degree or Vocational Certificate • 5+ years of related experience • Must be familiar with process gasses and water systems, as well as plumbing, HVAC and/or electrical. • Must have industrial experience with 480 volt 3-phase equipment, Chillers/Boilers, process piping, production equipment, etc. • Must be physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. and working from a ladder, scissor lift or on roof tops. • Proficiency with business software such as email, Microsoft word Excel and Power Point.
