Varuna, the National Writers’ house invites writers and illustrators from across Australia to apply for a Varuna Residency Fellowship. Applications close 29 August 2013 A Varuna Residency Fellowship offers writers and illustrators, working across a wide range of literary genres and forms, focused work time, an inspiring environment and a collegial atmosphere in which to develop a new work. The Fellowship includes full board and accommodation including private writing studio at Varuna, the National Writers’ House in the world heritage Blue Mountains region of NSW. Varuna assesses applications on merit and encourages writers from diverse backgrounds and at all stages of their career development to apply.
