Vassallo Group employee, Ms Caroline Chircop wins the Young Achiever of The Year during the Translog 2014 Awards Edition. Ms Chircop has occupied the role of Group Procurement Executive since April 2011. I have been honoured to receive the award of Young Achiever of the Year during last Fridays Translog 2014 Awards Edition - a special networking event for Supply Chain, Transport and Logistics leaders, said Ms Chircop. This is an award for the recognition of the outstanding achievements beyond that which is normally expected from managers of this age and experience. It is for excellence in any of the functions relating to the management of logistics and transport, including both operational management and supporting functions. Young is defined as a Manager who, on 31st December 2013, is not more than 35 years old. This award highly recognizes her thesis case study which was based on her personal experience in the management of Vassallo Groups Pilot Project of Streamlining the Group Sourcing & Procurement Processes.
