Vegan friends..........We are an established singer/songwriter folky acoustic vegan musical thing....we play homegrown, organic, trance-folk..............AND.......we play only original songs with many being songs that address vegan issues. Opossum and Friends from Green Camp, Ohio Being both a songwriter and wildlife rehabilitator can have strange consequences,…..and Steve Moore, …during his 25 years of doing local wildlife rescue/rehab work, and writing a few songs about opossums, was branded with a nickname that stuck. He is a local performing singer/songwriter, writing, singing, and playing his homegrown, organic “trance-folk” music and stories to a broad audience. His all-original poetic, engaging songs have captivated many audiences from coffee houses, churches, bars, union halls, festivals, fundraisers, and living rooms. Being described as having his finger on the pulse of the common man, his original songs like “Auto Plant,” “Marion”, “Into the Woods,” “Anything,” and “Without Warning,” speak of work, love, life, and the planet Earth. In addition, he has had three songs produced and recorded by nationally-renowned Austin producer and Americana artist Gurf Morlix. These songs include his ballad “Marion,” which celebrates his childhood in our community. This hometown song has enjoyed quite a lot of local airplay and interest, and his album “Without Warning” is receiving great reviews. Another unique aspect of this artist is that 100% of all of the proceeds of all Opossum’s performances go into his “Winds of Good” fund and are donated to grass-roots non-profits and charitable causes. To date, ….$15,985.82 has been raised from performances and donated from this fund.
