Vegan ≠ healthy It can, yes, but too many vegans eat refined, processed, and sugary and fatty foods. The point isnt to be vegan (though I mostly am; I call it veganish), but to be healthy. Remember, its more about what you ARE eating than what you ARENT eating. Its not whats OFF your plate so much as whats ON your plate. This is a crucial distinction understood by too few. Sweat > sweets! Also, sweat everyday. Every. Day. For alt least 20 minutes, though 30+ minutes is better. If you havent already, buy this book and read it. Do it today. Right now, even. It surveys the latest and greatest studies and thinking on, well, thinking. The new paradigm is that you exercise for brain and mental health, and the physical benefits that you reap (nice physique, strong cardio, six-pack abs, etc.) are merely a byproduct of the primary benefit of exercise: increased mental health and acuity, and the staving off of brain-related diseases, including depression, Alzheimers, Parkinsons, and more. So, yeah, Im pleading with you to get it. Like that little old lady said a long time ago: The whole body is designed for action. Action! Peace, all.
