The Veils of Gold Dance Troupe are a group of vibrant, enthusiastic and dynamic women who are passionate about their art and have been performing for over 10 years. They perform a range of bellydances styles from Egyptian to the energetic Lebanese bellydance, the Turkish Oryantal Dansi and the folkloric tapestry of the dances of the Romani - Gypsy/ Flamenco. Performances weave together the expressive and lively improvisational elements of traditional Balkan dance with the contemporary flair of modern belly dance. Veils of Gold also choreograph their own dances to suit local themes, such as supporting the ‘Hormone Hoe down’ in 2014, which raised funds for Goldfields Women’s Health Care Centre
