Ven Paolo Valenzuela, Advocacy/Research Officer of Center for Disaster Preparedness (CDP), conducted to Banaba Livelihood and Bakwet Center (with Buklod Tao as stewards), two visitors : Miss Marikris D. de Guzman, representing Asean Youth Volunteers Program/ Youth Beyond Disaster (affiliated with the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction) and Mr. Konhei Kimura, CDP intern and student of University of the Philippines, College of Social Work and Community Development. It was an exploratory talks on community-based disaster risk reduction and management, overview of Buklod Tao and the community, and the prospect of conduct of a study visit , last week of October 2014, by some fifty students (elementary and high school), CDP pointpersons, and other interested NGO representative to Buklod Tao.
