S: I came back to Finland a couple of days ago, so I’m a bit jetlagged. My flight here went a bit… shall I say… yeah. It took me forty hours to get from LA to Finland, I was stuck for 22 hours at the Chicago airport. I: What kept you there? S: The flight was cancelled. Yeah. But, well, now I’m happily here. I: How long did you stay in the States this time? S: I spent five weeks there now. I’d planned on going to LA for a month just to relax after Big Brother finished in the end of November. I visited Mexico and… I: So it was just a vacation? S: It was a vacation. I did have a little bit of work to do, also, but mainly just vacationing. I: What was that work there? S: We were shooting a little bit of videos there, but they’re also still under work. I: What are your plans for this year and this spring? S: Well, hopefully there will be lots of work stuff here in Finland. I’m planning on staying here more now. I have all kinds of new things in the works but of course I can’t tell you very much about them yet. I: There are just those annoying things! S: (laughs) Aren’t they? I: People are always teasing, like, “yeah, I have all kinds of things going on…” S: Yeah, but I just don’t dare promise and say anything yet, you know. I: Okay, I understand, I understand. But about Finnish TV – if you should name one program that Sauli Koskinen likes in addition to Big Brother, what would it be? S. Well, I’ve liked an awful lot this TV series called Syke (“The beat”, a Finnish fictional drama series following the life of four emergency room nurses both at their work and home). I’ve watched every episode that’s been aired, and also the pre-episodes, and I think it’s a really good new Finnish drama series. I: That’s great and let’s hope that Syke will also [get a Venla award] - and hey, is Big Brother also nominated? S: No, Big Brother is not nominated but Syke is.
