Vent from one of us........All I know, is that i cannot use the stove at all when i am manic. I had my heart set on making a cherry jubilee cake for my daughters bday. I mean, I had this planned for months. I decided that all at the same time to make a marinade for my pork chops, hot dog and potato packets, and the cake. Turned out beautiful until i got distracted on the phone and then uexpected guest at thedoor. I realized i had to quickly take the cake out before it burned. (oh, and did i mention, i pitted about 30 cherries too) I ran to the kitchen, flung the oven door open and burned my knee. i put the cake down on the top of the stove to cool. Five minutes laterr i heard what sounded like an explosion in the kitchen. I forgot that I had left a burner on, and the glass cake pan was now shattered to a zillion peices on the floor! I burst into tears and when my husband came home, he found me screaming and crying in a big pile of glass. That is why I do not use the oven, or stove when I am manic!
