Ventyx continues to foster a customer oriented partnership with Mitrais “Ventyx is proud of our long term partnership with Mitrais. Mitrais provides Ventyx customers with local highly skilled consultants that leverage world class software solutions from Ventyx to tackle their biggest challenges.” Those were the words of Jay Holmstrom, Ventyx’s Vice President Product from the United States who visited Mitrais’ Bali offices last month. During the three days meeting, he met up with Ventyx representatives from Asia Pacific region and Mitrais’ executive team to discuss the future development plans for Ventyx solutions. “We are pleased to be able to review the roadmap for our mining solutions with the Mitrais leadership team and senior consultants,” Jay revealed. According to him, Mitrais provided the “voice of the customer” feedback on Ventyx’s mining solutions roadmap that will guide their R&D efforts over the next 18 months. “The 360 degree approach provides tangible depth to our partnership and benefits both organizations and most importantly our customers,” Jay explained. “Mitrais not only provides consulting services to Ventyx customers; they also do development on Ventyx solutions in support of our R&D team.” When asked to share her thoughts about the collaboration between Ventyx and Mitrais, Senior Vice President Mitrais Mining Solutions Maria Lantu could only express her delight. She admitted her admiration towards Ventyx continuous improvement approach to the Ellipse implementation methodology, and having Mitrais take part in it was an indicator as to how much value Ventyx put in their partnership with Mitrais. “I’m an advocate on using IT solutions to help you do your work better and implement the benefits you’d like to achieve, rather than having it as a tool that dictates how you do your work,” said Maria. “That’s why I like Ventyx’s new implementation methodology that makes improvements based on an organization’s strategic objectives as opposed to having an organization implement a solution to fulfill only certain needs.” She also mentioned that having six people from Ventyx coming over to discuss mutual thoughts about how to remain competitive in Indonesia as well as the world market was a sign that Mitrais and Ventyx have taken a step forward in their relationship. This meeting in Bali lasted from 23rd to 25th September and aside from Jay, Ventyx was also represented by Dan Spathonis, Group VP Asset and Work Management Global Consulting; Rodney Bassa, Product Manager (EAM); Ross Laughlan, Group VP OEM and Defence Solutions; Yaj Malik, VP Sales South East Asia; and Chris Parry, APAC Channel Partner Manager. They were welcomed to Mitrais by David Magson, CEO; Maria Lantu, Senior VP Mining Solutions; Roger Bice, VP Mining Solutions; Gordon Haigh, General Manager Mine Operation Solutions; and Argo Negoro, Senior Manager Mining Solutions Software Development & Master Data Management.
