Verdict is in - current liver is shot to hell and it is time to get assessed for transplant. If I manage to jump through the required medical hoops & dodge the various medical bullets and get approved I will need to have 3 potential live donor candidates set up. O+ or O- blood type, under 50, healthy BMI and generally in good health. Preferably not immediately related (ie siblings, kids as we have some seriously mutated genes at play). Holy cr@p, shit just got even real-er (my made up word). 2014 will not be boring. Stay tuned...
