Verdict on Oahu this far = I love it. I still think Maui or even big island Hawaii might be better for first time visits, adventure vacations etc... but Oahu is actually livable from a West Coast urban/suburban perspective. I love the Waikiki area at night, there are actual freeways you can drive fast on, more real jobs, etc. Plus interconnecting highways that let you get from one side of the island to the other super fast. Definitely different than our trips to other islands, but not disappointed at all. Hawaii truly is paradise in America. :)
