Very Interesting! This article talks about the recently discovered connection between refined salts and auto-immune disorders. I have suffered from psoriasis for many years. Ive tried nearly every harsh prescription medication out there, even some that caused liver damage and I experienced insane hair loss from another and NOTHING has even come close to helping my condition. However in almost 20 years of skin issues the ONLY time that it completely disappeared from my body was for very short periods close to either my bodybuilding competitions or photo shoots. I have assumed it was due to a combination of things like a VERY strict diet of limited items, incredible amounts of cardio, etc. but now that I think about it, the times where my skin cleared up was also the times where my sodium intake was the lowest like after I had switched to salt free seasoning over standard seasoning salts and removed all the extra flavor enhancers I had been using like spray butter, SF syrup, mustard, etc. only then and relatively quickly, my skin would clear up completely.
