Very bad start to the day...My school system opened on our regular schedule...or at least tried to. Some children made it to school by bus. But I left the house a bit late, trying to settle Boy for the day. Temperatures are in the teens and wind chill makes it feel like single digits. By the time I pulled out of the garage, the ground was totally white. The snow started to fall at the worse possible time. I drove very slowly but never made it to the Interstate. Then the text came in which said that the schools were closing. Buses were turning around and taking kids home again. I too just pulled off and turned around to creep back to the house. Have no idea how this will affect our calendar. We are fast running out of snowdays. :\
