Very busy day today, finally get a few minutes to say hello to everyone! Welcome Home As I sit here on a swing gently swaying back and forth My eyes closed ever so slight the warm breeze caresses my face, I hear familiar sounds from past to present I’m not yet certain yet there it is again? Tis time with comforting closeness I want to embrace it and never let it go! The breeze so gently runs and skips through the trees Kissing the leaves and making them dance about, The rustle of the leaves make me homesick I yearn for familiar scenes. I see a childlike being carefree one with nature readily trapped within the serenity of inner peace, I feel the tall grass as it forms a mold of her young body Nestled around her like a blanket of green down. The sun warms her face as it appears from behind the clouds Hands clasped behind her head I sense she may never leave, There is a yearning a longing I can almost reach out and touch it The rustle of the leaves carry me back across the miles of memories! Back home once again where the heart is at peace There is a smile of contentment on the young girls face, She opens her eyes to see beautiful tall majestic poplars Their leaves dancing as they sing to her heart...
