Very cool bit of trivia knowledge for #Camaro Z/28 fans. The 2014 Z/28 was so fast, but had so much grip under braking and acceleration, that it was literally outrunning its tires during testing. Whats that mean? It means that when stopping, it was moving so fast, but braking so effectively, that the wheel and the tire would slip and rotate at different speeds. This video shows how the engineers at #Chevy found a clever way to fix it, by making the rims of the Z/28 especially abrasive, to keep them mated to their tires. Cool stuff!
