I dont know about this particular unit but I saw enough of low standards to join, low standards in training, and the US was constantly lowering the length of training so they could play a numbers game on the amount of Iraqis trained. On top of that instead of solid training teams from SF or at least experienced combat arms the training was being overseen by Guard and Reserve units or AGRs reactivated for service that did not have knowledge, skills, and abilities to accomplish the task of training the Iraqis effectively. The only think to slow down ISIS now is massive air strikes.. We need to make sure we send no troops on the ground. What is there now needs to succeed or fail (probably fail) based on their own merits.
