Very disappointed at Vanderbilt Childrens Surgeons for Scarlet. The report said if she was still in pain she needed laparoscopic surgery. So we followed orders and went to get Scarlet and take her to ER. But during observation of her, someone changed their mind despite her gritting teeth, hitting self and verbalizing her pain- instead of the ovary etc. she just needs Miralax. A nurse said call Patient Relations due to the change of plans. Not certain why the change but Scarlet has cried all week and been in pain for months. It is hard to see another child suffer. Mercy advised how to ease her pain until Monday. It will not involve this surgery group- for certain.
